Remembrance Day National Ceremony

Wednesday, November 11 at 10.15am

Remembrance Day

On 11 November 1918 at 11am the guns of the Western Front fell silent after more than four years of continuous warfare. This year marks the 91st Anniversary of the Armistice, when Australians remember those who fought and died for our country in war and armed conflicts.

Everyone is encouraged to attend this important ceremony. Please note the Memorial will be closed during the ceremony and will open after the ceremony's conclusion. A special commemorative closing will be conducted at 5.00 pm.

Limited public seating is available for the National Ceremony. Guests can access seating from 9.00 am and are requested to be seated by no later than 10.00 am.

The ceremony will conclude at approximately 12 noon.

The Memorial will open after the Remembrance Day ceremony. You are invited to lay a single poppy at the Tomb at the conclusion of the ceremony.
