We commemorate...

the 80th anniversary of Operation Jaywick - 26 September 1943.

On the 26th of September 1943, a team of British and Australian sailors and soldiers successfully executed Operation Jaywick. The objective: to destroy shipping vessels in Japanese-occupied Singapore Harbour. A former fishing vessel, known as the MV Krait, played a pivotal role in the covert wartime mission, enabling the team to slip into the harbour undetected.
