Action Stations tells the individual stories of the men and women from Horsham, Victoria, who enlisted to join the Royal Australian Navy from 1911 onwards.

The book presents a chapter on the genesis of the RAN and discusses its involvement in military conflicts preceeding the First World War through to the present day.
