The Avro Lancaster was one of the most effective bombers of the Second World War. Introduced to the Royal Air Force's Bomber Command in 1942 the four-engined heavy bomber soon became a vital tool in the allies strategic bombing offensive over Europe.
The 1:32 scale model kit, created by Border Models, features full interior and exterior detailing. The model boasts:
- RR Merlin XX or Packard V-1650-1 Merlin 28 engine blocks (incl. dummy blocks for swift assembly),
- FN.50 upper turret and FN.20/FN.120 rear gun turrets,
- H2s radar,
- DH.5/40 (needle) and A5/138 (paddle) propellors and spinners,
- Detailed cockpit interior,
- Internal canopy framing,
- Dropped flaps,
- Removable outboard wing sections,
- Tailwheel and mainwheel options (unweighted or weighted with full bomb load),

The model also offers removable or cutaway sections for ease of display, and aerial rigging advice.
