In honour of the Australian experience of war, and to commemorate the service and sacrifice of men and women across all conflicts, we present a collection of challenge coins and tokens - designed exclusively for the Memorial Shop. 

This challenge coin commemorates the Royal Australian Navy's first battle cruiser HMAS Australia (I), which served during the First World War. 

Uniquely shaped like a map of Australia, the coin's obverse is embossed with a stylised design of the vessel, underpinned by the words "HMAS Australia | 1913-1924". The reverse features the Australian War Memorial's logo.
