Fifty Shades of Green, Brown and Khaki: 100 Years of the Australian Soldier's Uniform and Combat Equipment - Volume 1, 1915-1990
Volume 1 of Fifty Shades of Green, Brown and Khaki offers an in-depth look at the Australian Soldier's Uniform and Combat Equipment from 1915-1990.
The author, Stephan Cheers, is a current serving soldier who throughout his long service has experienced some of these changes as the Army has changed over time. Even though these books only cover the common items that most soldiers were issued; it is his intention to collaborate with others to complete further work on uniforms of the technical corps, special forces and airborne troops.
