This miniature figurine depicts Corporal Cameron Baird, VC, MG in his combat gear, and was inspired by the life-size bronze statue standing at Currumbin RSL. The statue was erected to honour the life and death of Cameron Baird, Australia's 100th recipient of the Victoria Cross, awarded for his heroic acts of valour and self-sacrifice whilst serving in Afghanistan.

Materials: Cold-cast bronze.
