During the centenary of the First World War, Australians took the opportunity to reflect on the momentous events of 1914-18 and to remember the service and sacrifice of our soldiers. This special centenary pin features a small red Flanders poppy, which has played a part in commemorative services since the early 1920s.

The pin is made from silvertone metal with red and black enamel highlights, and attaches to the lapel with a silver push pin.
