Medallion: 'G for George' AR-G, 460 Squadron
Genuinely special, this medallion commemorates the service of 'G for George' - an Avro Lancaster Mk I flown by 460 Squadron during the Second World War.
Meticulously crafted, the medallion's obverse features a detailed bas relief depiction of the iconic bomber, call sign and serial number; while the reverse features the Commemorative Area at the Australian War Memorial. Each medallion is finely detailed and expertly finished in an antique copper tone. The medallion is handsomely presented in a timber gift box, lined in red velvet with laser-etched lid (hinged).
